Shipments of items removed from eligibility for a License Exception or for export or reexport without a license (NLR) as a result of this regulatory action that were en route aboard a carrier to a port of export or reexport, on May 14, 2019, pursuant to actual orders for export or reexport to a foreign destination, may proceed to that destination under the previous eligibility for a License Exception or export or NLR.
The COTP is proposing to establish a safety zone from mile marker (MM) 756.3 to MM 757.3 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on June 15, 2019. The safety zone would cover all navigable waters of the Ohio River, extending the entire width of the river, between MM 756.3 and MM 757.3 in Owensboro, KY. The duration of the zone is intended to ensure the safety of vessels and these navigable waters before, during, and after the scheduled 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. fireworks display. No vessel or person would be permitted to enter the safety zone without obtaining permission from the COTP or a designated representative.
